I asked myself, does the world need another stream of vanity ramblings and of course the answer was NO!!! But that doesn’t stop anyone else, so here goes!
I thought it would be rude not to start my blog by posting a few images in context of my favorite regular job, the Guardian Sports. As a sports fanatic I love to draw and hopefully add a little content to the mighty Screen Break written by Martin Kelner and published every Monday. Whose humorous take on the sporting week and more often that not on the most bizarre sports TV programs possible, where he finds these programs scheduled I have no idea!
And I thought I’d just post a job I pulled in from a trip over NYC recently for The Wall Street Journal, always very exciting to work for clients of such note from across the pond. The team of Art directors working on the WSJ were a really cool bunch and made me feel very welcome whilst showing my portfolio, especially football mad Pete Hausler whose 2nd favorite football team is the Mighty Burnley FC, although not quite his first team he’s an adopted Claret in my eyes! Anyways enjoy the illo below.
